3 candidates signed-up to run for Town Commissioner before the deadline of May 11: Frank Fluharty, Greg Cusick and Sam Abey. The election will be held in Town Hall on May 21, 2026. If you are unable to vote in person, Kelsie has absentee ballots available at Town Hall.
44th Annual Luminaria

DECEMBER 20, 5-8 PM. Join in the Holiday Fun with History, Houses, Sweet Treats & Holiday Cheer
The Vienna Heritage Society presents the 44th Annual Luminaria in downtown Vienna, MD. Only 15 minutes from Salisbury and Cambridge and located on the beautiful Nanticoke River, Vienna is the perfect setting for your family’s holiday fun. Tour 9 historic homes & locations, talk to the owners, see the Christmas decorations, enjoy holiday treats at most of the locations, and see the town’s streets outlined with luminaries. Bring the entire family. Trams will be running to take people from location to location or you can walk the lovely candlelit streets.
Your $5 ticket will get you entrance into each location or you can buy a family pass for only $20 which will let each member of your party enter.
More than 1,500 glowing luminaries will line the streets of Vienna, Maryland, a 300 year old town on
the Nanticoke River.
Free Tram:
Ride the free tram, visit with Santa and find treats and the button factory at the Vienna Heritage Museum.
House Tour:
Several homes will be open to visitors with house tour tickets, whiich can be purchased at the Vienna Heritage Museum at 303 Race Street, which will serve as headquarters for the event.
Cost:
The cost for home tour is $5 per person; children under 6 free. All other activities are free of charge.

Town Meeting 3/10 cancelled
We have had to cancel the Town Meeting tonight, March 10th. The next Town Meeting will be on March 24th at 7 pm.
